Anna Banaś

I studied Japanese in Krakow. Then I went to do a PhD in sociolinguistics in Edinburgh. Right now I am working in a research institute in Amsterdam. In the meantime I have worked in kindergartens in Poland and Japan, and taught at universities in Scotland and New Zealand. I love people, they fascinate me, and the study of language has led me to be deeply interested in the ways people make (or choose not to make) connections with one another.

My son was born in May 2010, and our life seems to have been only getting better since (now that the sleepelss nights are finally over, it really is even better)

I have done a foundations course at RIE, and attended  the Pikler training (Level 1) in Budapest in June 2012. We will see what happens next. In the meantime, I am learning…
