Just playing #2

This post is part of the Just playing series inspired and started by Child Central Station.

Look at all the fun, emotions and discoveries children around you have when they are ‘just playing’ :)

Have a look at the photos here and tell us:

What is the child doing here?
What do you see?
What learning is taking place?
What skills are being practiced/developed?

One girl.
One scarf.
A ton of fun.
A lot of surprises.
Heaps of discoveries.
Learning. Working. Playing.

  1. Anna- I’m so glad you decided to keep playing! Just so you know, the blog hop is never “closed” as we have a new link up every week! The link starts on Thursdays! I hope you’ll continue to join us as we work to promote children at play! Look at the motor skills, and the observation of kinetic energy transfer. She is also experimenting with her senses- and having a whole lot of fun doing it!

    • Amy, hi :-) Nadine is working it out right now, thank you for letting us know :) We will be with you weekly, it seems, thanks so much fir setting it up, I am so happy more and more people are looking at Play. She is 10 months old in the photo and this whole scarf experiment lasted on and off for a good portion of the morning!

  2. What great exploration! I always wonder what they are thinking at this age. Will the scenery be the same before and after the peek-a-boo? What does she think about the wind that is produced as she waves the scarf? Great sensory exploration going on here! Love it! :)
